Seniors Shannon Flowerday (ADV/Studio Art) and Trista Kempa
(ADV) recently received the first Clark and Marion Kimball Scholarships. Mr. John Kimball, son of Clark and Marion,
was on campus to present the scholarships and have lunch with the students. John Kimball is an Advertising alum who has
worked in the newspaper industry his entire career. He is passionate about
newspapers/news industry and the future of newspapers/the news industry. His
final job was working as VP for the Newspaper Association of America, which
reported on trends of advertising in the news industry. He strongly feels that
increasing ads sales will build revenue for the news industry.
